The terms on which you may use the GRS Certification website, the public certificate register and the client portal.
This website is operated by Global Registrar of Systems Pty Ltd (ABN 42 619 007 477) — “GRS”, “we” or “us”. By accessing or using this website you agree to these terms of use. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
We may amend these terms at any time by publishing an updated version on this page. Your continued use of the site after a change takes effect means you accept the amended terms.
This website is an information resource. Certification, inspection and training services are provided only under a separate written agreement — the certification agreement, proposal or purchase order accepted by both parties — together with our scheme regulations.
Where anything on this website conflicts with a signed agreement or with our scheme regulations, that agreement and those regulations prevail. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance, a quotation, or a commitment to certify.
You may view, download and print material from this website for your own internal business use. You must not:
Access to the client portal is granted to certified clients and their nominated personnel. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.
Tell us immediately if you believe your credentials have been compromised or if a nominated user leaves your organisation. We may suspend or withdraw portal access at any time — for example on suspension or withdrawal of certification, or where we reasonably suspect misuse.
Our public register lets any interested party confirm the status of a certificate issued by GRS. Register entries are provided in good faith and reflect our records at the time of the search.
A register entry confirms only the certificate details shown — the certified organisation, standard, scope, status and validity dates. It is not an endorsement of any product, service, person or claim, and it does not warrant continuing conformity between audits. If a search result appears inconsistent with a certificate you have been shown, contact us before relying on either.
The GRS marks, the JAS-ANZ accreditation mark and any scheme marks are protected and may be used only by currently certified clients, only within the certified scope, and only in accordance with our certification mark guidelines and the terms of the certification agreement.
Marks must not be applied to products, product packaging, test reports or in any way that implies product certification where the certification is of a management system. We may require correction, and may suspend or withdraw certification, for misleading use. Use of a mark ceases immediately on expiry, suspension or withdrawal of certification.
All content on this website — text, graphics, photography, logos, page design and code — is owned by GRS or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. Standards referenced on this site (ISO, IEC and equivalents) remain the property of their respective publishers; we do not distribute copies of standards.
Except as these terms allow, no licence is granted to any of our intellectual property.
The site links to third-party sites — accreditation bodies, standards publishers and regulators — for your convenience. We do not control those sites, do not endorse their content, and accept no responsibility for it. Following an external link is at your own risk.
We take care to keep the site accurate and current, but content is provided for general information only and may change without notice. Prices, course dates, scopes and standard revisions shown here are indicative and must be confirmed with us in writing.
We do not guarantee that the site or the client portal will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free, and we may suspend access for maintenance at any time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided “as is” and we exclude all warranties, express or implied. Nothing on this site constitutes legal, technical or compliance advice, and it must not be relied on as a substitute for the applicable standard or professional advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GRS is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or opportunity, arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability can be limited but not excluded, it is limited to resupplying the relevant service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.
Personal information submitted through this site is handled in accordance with our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state and any courts hearing appeals from them.
Questions about these terms — or about the use of certification marks — should be directed to certification@grscertification.com or 1300 007 477.
